No God at SeaBus Terminals

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) - The advertisements were rejected in Halifax, but you might be seeing them in Vancouver. The message is: 'You can be good without God'. Humanist Canada - an atheist group - is in talks to put ads at the SeaBus terminals. Humanist Canada says its mission is to promote ethics, rationality, critical thinking, dignity, and equality.

President Pat O'Brien says the group is simply trying to reach out to like minded people. "I'm guessing that there's probably a lot of people out there who don't know about Humanism and that are probably Humanists, don't realize it, and we just want to make them aware there's an organization."

O'Brien says he understands that some people could be offended. "Religious ads could be offensive to me, but I 100% support their right to do it."
